Table of Contents
1. Las Vegas Sign
Did you really visit Las Vegas if you didn’t take a photo in front of the “Welcome to Las Vegas Sign”? The iconic sign has been a landmark of the city since 1959. It’s easily the most popular instagram spot in Vegas and for good reason! EVERYONE takes a photo here and while it’s a bit cliche, it’s also super fun and Instagram worthy. This wouldn’t be a Las Vegas Instagram Spots post without it!
Seriously, no instagrammable trip to Vegas is complete without getting a photo at this famous sign!
Best Time To Visit:
Early morning before the line gets super long and the heat gets unbearable! This is one of the most popular Las Vegas Instagram spots, so expect a crowd unless you arrive early in the morning (weekdays are better too). The earlier you go, the less crowded it will be. This place gets crazy busy, especially in the afternoon. There’s also no shade, so the lighting can be harsh if you go in the middle of the day.
If you want to get a photo without a crowd of people behind you, I recommend going in the morning on a weekday.
To make sure you get there early and get your shot, this is a spot you’ll probably want to drive to. While it is on the strip, it’s pretty far from the majority of hotels, and walking there would take quite a while (it takes about 30 minutes to walk there from the MGM). It has its own parking lot, so it’s easy to drive or Uber here and get that perfect Instagram shot.
Or if you’re looking to save some money, you can also take the Deuce bus which stops at the Four Season which is about a 10 minute walk from the sign!
Tips For Shooting Here:
Have some poses in mind before going up to take your picture! There is always a long line waiting which can make you feel a little awkward and rushed if you’re not comfortable posing in front of people . You can find tips for getting comfortable posing in public here!
Pro tip: If you don’t care about taking a photo that’s straight on or directly in front of the sign, then you don’t have to wait in line! You can get photos further back or from the side without having to wait which is a HUGE time saver!
Address: 5200 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119
2. The Venetian
My favorite thing about Vegas? The fact that you can travel around the world just by walking up and down the Strip! Want to be transported to Venice? Then head to the Venetian! The Venitian Hotel is one of my favorite hotels on The Strip and one of my favorite photo spots in all of Las Vegas. There are soooo many different areas you can shoot at inside and outside of this hotel! I love seeing all of my favorite Venice landmarks recreated and the attention to detail makes for a major wow factor!
Best Time To Visit.
The best time to shoot here is early in the morning before the sun gets too harsh and creates shadows everywhere. If you don’t get up early enough, I would take your photos under the many shaded spots along the lagoon so there aren’t shadows on your face. You can also shoot in the upper corridor outside of Tao, like I did in the photo above, and still get a cool shot as well! The lighting is beautiful during the late afternoon and sunset for a glow.
Tips For Shooting Here
Don’t limit yourself to just one shot! The Venetian has so many different locations to get pictures that all look completely different!
Snap a photo overlooking the grand canal and the Gondolas! You’ll love this spot because it really does look like you’re in Venice overlooking the Campanile tower!
Another great spot is the Grand Canal Shoppes! To get there, head inside the Venetian where you can find more gondola rides, cute little shops that look like they’re straight out of Italy, and plenty of cute spots for photos!
I also suggest shooting in the upstairs corridor leading up to the Grand Canal Shoppes (you can definitely shoot both in the same trip). Not only are the the pillars and the cutout details above them are absolutely stunning but there are plenty of fun angles you can play around with and you can get a great view of the strip in your photos!
And if you really want to look like you’re in Venice, take a ride in a gondola and snap away to get some fun shots at one of the most Instagram worthy spots in Las Vegas!
Address: 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
3. Love Sculpture in The Palazzo
This next spot could probably also be considered at the Venetian because The Palazzo and The Venetian are actually connected, but it has a much different vibe than all the photo spots at the Venetian. Once you’ve walked through the Canal Shops keep going through to the back and you’ll hit the Palazzo. The giant “LOVE” statue is up year round and is a great place to take a picture on your own or with your significant other!
Best Time To Visit.
This isn’t a super well known photo spot and it is inside so my advice is to leave this spot later in the afternoon when other spots are too crowded, too hot, or have too harsh lighting.
Tips For Shooting Here
Have your photographer take your photo off to the side instead of from the front in order to easily get the whole sculpture in your photo!
Address: 3325 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
4. The Trevi Fountain at Caesars
This Instagram worthy fountain is located just outside of the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. The fountain is a replica of the Trevi Fountain in Rome, and while it’s a lot smaller (and definitely less crowded), I have to say that it looks pretty similar!
Best Time To Visit
Caesar’s Palace is one of the only spots I’ve visited where the lighting was actually better midday than early in the morning. Because of the way the sun rises, it actually casts shadows off the buildings on the opposite side of the strip so this is a spot you can visit any time in the afternoon or evening. It can get crowded throughout the day with people taking a break from walking and sitting next to the fountain, but if you’re patient you can get a photo alone!
Tips For Shooting Here
The Trevi Fountain isn’t the only cool replica at Ceasar’s Palace! There are many other iconic Roman monuments here that are definitely worth checking out! There’s a gorgeous grand staircase leading up to the pool, a beautiful domed gazebo on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and the Spanish Steps Bar which is a gorgeous replica of the actual Spanish Steps!
Honestly, you can probably spend all day taking photos just at Caesar’s Palace alone – but if you’re pressed for time, hit the Trevi Fountain first as that’s the best one!
Address: 3500 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
What To Pack
5. Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan
The Chandelier Bar is one fo the most instagram worthy bars on the strip. With its endless strands of sparkly chandeliers and the glow of the purple lights shining behind them, this over the top photo spot screams Vegas!
Best Time To Visit.
If you want to get a photo sitting at the bar or in one of it’s lounge chairs, come during the day when the bar is pretty empty! But if you want to get a shot with the chandelier in the background you can do that at any time!
Tips For Shooting Here
Th Chandelier Bar makes the perfect backdrop for when you want to snap some photos of yourself all dressed up for a night out on the town, so put your party dress on and get some pics before you head out for the night!
Address: 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Levels 1, 1.5 and 2; The Boulevard Tower, Las Vegas, NV 89109
6. The Little White Wedding Chapel
I found my new favorite photo spot in Vegas during our visit a few weeks ago! Isn’t this place the cutest?! The Little White Wedding Chapel is all the way down the strip, just past the Stratosphere. Although it’s a bit far, its a great spot for photos! I love the Elvis sign, and they even have a pink Cadillac which I’ll definitely be taking pics with next time!
Best Time To Visit.
I took this photo just before sunset one night and the lighting was perfect! If you go around midday, the shadows may be a little crazy so I’d recommend going really early or around sunset like I did!
Tips For Shooting Here
You’ll want a wide angle lens for this one and ask your photographer to crouch down so you can get the whole sign in the picture!
Address: 1301 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104
7. The Eiffel Tower
I love how Las Vegas can make you feel like you are in so many places all at once. If you want to be in Paris, all you have to do is head to the hotel! The Paris may not have the real Eiffel Tower, but the replica looks just like it. It’s almost as impressive to see in the center of the Las Vegas Strip as the real thing!
Most people get their photos of the Paris across the street at the Bellagio like the photos above, BUT you can also shoot right underneath it, and the hotel has a couple of other cool spots that you can shoot at as well!
Best Time To Visit.
Golden hour will create the best lighting for this shot! This location doesn’t get too crowded though because its tucked away back from the crowds! Even if you have people walking along the pathway, you’ll still easily be able to get a photo without anyone in it!
Tips For Shooting Here
Like the real Eiffel Tower of which the best view is from the Trocadero, the best views of Vegas’ version are across the street from the hotel next to or behind the Bellagio fountains! Here you’ll get not only the the Eiffel Tower but also the beautiful rails and greenery surrounding the fountains!
Address: 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
8. The Arc De Triumph
The Paris Hotel also has a replica of the Arc de Triomphe. Most people pass this up in favor of the Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio fountains, but this is a great photo spot as well!
Best Time To Visit.
As with most places on the strip, earlier is usually better for shooting at the Arc De Triumph. Although the shadows don’t get too crazy here, the traffic does get worse as the day goes on. If you don’t want to have to stop shooting every couple minutes and move for passing cars you’ll want to get here early!
Tips For Shooting Here
To photograph the Arc de Triomphe, stand by the median that’s in front of it and ask your photographer to shoot from a low angle. You’ll also find pretty florals here, which will be the perfect addition to your photos!
Address: 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
10. The Bellagio
And speaking of the Bellagio, you can’t leave Vegas without getting some shots here! The Bellagio is a great place to take photos! You can take photos facing The Paris Hotel like I did above, or you can take photos facing the Bellagio with the fountains in front of it!
If you want to get the fountains in your shot, they go off every 15 to 30 minutes. The fountain show starts at 3 PM Monday through Friday, noon on Saturdays, and 11 AM on Sundays.
Another great way to see the fountains is to snag dinner at Lago. The restaurant gives you a front-row seat to the fountain show where you can dine and watch at the same time without the crowds from the street. Be sure to make a reservation and request a patio seat so you have a good view! The dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows, but sometimes they have a glare so the best seat in the house is in the front row on the patio!
While you’re at the Bellagio, don’t forget to stop by the conservatory and gardens for a gorgeous photo op! Here, you’ll find a grand floral display. The display’s theme changes seasonally so it’ll be something different every time you visit!
Other spots at The Bellagio that make for great photo spots here include the Mayfair Club and Sadelles!
Best Time To Visit
The problem with taking photos by the fountains is that it gets crowded no matter what time you see the show. I recommend getting there at least a few minutes before the show starts to grab your spot. If you go near the corners of the fountains you might have better luck getting away from the crowd!
The conservatory also tends to get crowded so if you want the best photos, come in the morning or early afternoon. If you come in the evening expect it to be beyond crowded and the lighting to be a bit dark.
Tips For Shooting Here
The best spot to both watch the fountain show and get photos of it is at the Bellagio Fountain viewing deck! Not only is it less crowded then watching the show from the street, but you’ll also have the Eiffel Tower in the background! The viewing deck is located just across from the main entrance. Walk straight past the valet and you will find a beautiful balcony overlooking the the fountains and the strip which is perfect for photos!
Address: 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
9. The Rainbow Stairs at the Fashion Show Mall
Looking for an Instagram-worthy location? These steps will do the trick. I honestly can’t believe they aren’t the number one Instagram spot in Vegas because these stairs are adorable! Located at the Fashion Show Mall, these rainbow stairs are gorgeously designed and will add a pop of color and a little extra fun to your feed!
Best Time To Visit.
Surprisingly this is not an area that you’ll have to worry about sun or crowds. There’s a giant escalator right next to it so the staircase is fairly empty most of the time. This area is fairly shaded by the mall as well so you can go at just about any time without having to worry about the lighting! I took these photos in the afternoon and not only did I hardly have any people in my backdrop, the lighting was perfect as well!
Tips For Shooting Here
The mall is pretty big so to get here either go to the Wynn and walk across the street or put Maggiano’s into your GPS! When you snap your pic make sure to tag @fashionshowlv as well as #TheFutureIsColorful.
Address: 3200 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste. 600, Las Vegas, NV 89109
10. Downtown & Freemont Street
Downtown Las Vegas is another of my favorite locations to shoot content at! It’s such an underrated part of the city, and definitely worth a trip! I love a good Instagram worthy mural so I was excited to find that Vegas has so many of them. You may not think of Vegas as a city with a cool art scene but if you look beyond the Strip, you’ll find so much cool street art all over town!
The East Freemont Street area has a ton of cool murals, signs, and art exhibits! My favorite is The Empty Club by Andre Saraiva! Its pink exterior, rotating disco ball and pink neon lights make for a super cool background for your next photo shoot!
Vegas’ Arts District, which is located just east of Freemont Street, is chalked full of colorful murals and graffiti! If you head here, some of the most Instagram worthy places in Las Vegas will be waiting to be photographed!
My favorite spot in the arts district is Retro Vegas! Retro Vegas is a big vintage and antiques store with a striking pink exterior. It’s just perfect for Instagram!
Best Time To Visit.
This part of Vegas is much less crowded than the strip, so it’s actually pretty easy to get photos with no one else in it! Get here early and spend the whole day exploring and taking photos!
Tips For Shooting Here
Not only is this one of the most Instagram worthy places in Las Vegas, but there’s also tons of good restaurants, breweries, and thrift shops to visit! I could spend all day wandering around this area, popping into different shops and shooting photos at different murals we find along the way! There are instagrammable spots around every corner so if you spend any amount of time wandering around this area, you’ll definitely find some gems!
Address: E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
11. The Neon Museum
Another downtown location, The Neon Museum is a spot you can’t miss! This outdoor museum displays the iconic neon signs from old casinos and former businesses! Not only does this spot give you a unique look into the city’s history, but the the signs are also super photogenic and its retro vibes are really cool.
Time slots often sell out days in advance so make sure to purchase a ticket in advance if you want to visit the museum!
Best Time To Visit:
Visit close to sunset to avoid harsh shadows ruining your photos. Plus the lights on the signs will be turned on then which will make your photos that much more magical!
Tips For Shooting Here:
There are a lot of photography restrictions to be aware of here. For instance no cameras and no bags so you can’t bring a change of clothes. BUT there’s a way you can get around these rules! If this is a location you really want to get a photo in, look for the times of the photo walks before your trip and sign up for one of them. It’s more expensive but worth it if you’re set on getting the perfect the shot!
Address: 770 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101
12. The Wynn – Parasol Down
To find one of the most beautiful and picturesque spots in Vegas, head on over to the atrium at the Wynn. Here you will find beautiful walkways covered with floral displays and colorful lanterns! This floral filled atrium makes a gorgeous backdrop for photos! You’ll also find their bar and restaurant, Parasol Down! The bar has colorful lanterns and lights that hang from the ceiling and move up and down creating a pretty cool photo!
Best Time To Visit.
Parasol Down is a fairly unknown photo spot so you can go there any time. The atrium tends to fill up later in the evening as people head out for the night so make sure you go in the morning or afternoon to get a photo without people in the background.
Tips For Shooting Here
Because the lanterns move up and down each photo will be different. Have your photographer take photos the whole time you’re on the escalator to make sure you get the lanterns in the spot you want them.
Address: 3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
13. New York New York
Although New York New York may not look much like the real NYC (to me anyways)… its still one of the most instagram worthy places in Las Vegas! The colorful buildings, Statue of Liberty, and bright red roller coaster makes for a great photo backdrop!
Best Time To Visit:
As you may have noticed, most spots on this list are easiest to shoot during the morning before things start to get too busy and the sun starts to cast shadows. Although this is still true for this spot, this isn’t as busy as some of the others so you won’t find any lines to get photos here so you don’t have to be too rushed getting here.
Tips For Shooting Here
The picture above was taken from across the street by the Excalibur, but there are a couple other great locations to take photos from including one of the walkways facing the property and across the street in front of The Tropicana!
Address: 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
14. Excalibur Hotel
Located between Luxor and New York New York hotels, The Excalibur looks like a fairy tale castle with its many colorful towers!
Best Time To Visit.
Although the Excalibur is hard to miss with its bright red and blue turrets, it still seems to be forgotten in favor of other newer spots that have popped up on the strip over the years. That being said, you shouldn’t have any problems getting your shot without a line forming or people in the background!
Tips For shooting Here
Although you won’t have to worry about people in the back of your picture, taxis are another story. Before I edited my photo, there was a line of taxis behind me. If you’re just starting out and don’t know how to photoshop objects out of your photos, just take your photos down the walkway away from the castle as opposed to right next to the valet. There’s a wall there that will block out any cars from your shot and you’ll still get the whole castle in your photos!
Address: 3850 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

15. The Luxor
The Luxor is the Egyptian themed hotel right next to the Excalibur. It’s hard to miss the giant black pyramid and light beam that shines out the top of it after the sun sets. This is another older hotel that gets passed over a lot, but it’s a great location that actually gives you two Instagram spots in one! The first is the large Sphinx and second is the large obelisk with the Luxor sign. The Sphinx is next to the tram station by the hotel entrance and the obelisk is right on Las Vegas Blvd. You can easily capture both of these shots in one stop!
Best Time To Visit
Since these are both high-traffic areas, it’s best to get there early. It could be difficult to get a good shot here later in the day since its the entrance of a large hotel, but if you get there early you should have it all to yourself!
Tips For Shooting Here
The Luxor is less than a five minute walk from both the Excalibur hotel and Mandalay Bay and only about 10 minutes from New York New York so these 4 photos could easily be done in one trip! My advice is to get them on your way to or from taking photos at the Las Vegas sign because that is down on that end of the strip as well!
Address: 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
16. Mandalay Bay
Another underrated photo spot which happens to be right on the other side of the Luxor is this spot at Mandalay Bay. While it is a bit far, you can hit The Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay all at once!
Best Time To Visit
Because this spot is so far down the strip, it doesn’t get that much foot traffic so you wont have to worry about any lines or crowds. Jon and I went in the evening right before sunset and the lighting was great!
Tips For Shooting Here
Jon and I had such a difficult time getting to this spot at first because we were coming from inside the casino. If you stay on Las Vegas Blvd its right out front. If you do happen to be inside the casino walk toward the front doors and go down the stairs to the pool area and walk outside. There should be a path right across from those doors that gets you to the balk of this spot!
Address: Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118
17. Las Vegas Sign at the Flamingo
Another great spot I just discovered on my last trip to Las Vegas is the neon Las Vegas sign at The Flamingo! This is another of those spots that I find to be highly underrated!
Best Time To Visit.
Becasue it’s such an underrated spot there was nobody trying to get photos here when Jon and I showed up! And because this location is indoors, this is a great spot to photograph mid day when some of the other spots are less photo worthy due to crazy shadows or harsh lighting!
Tips For Shooting Here
Take your photo off to the side instead of front on to get a little something different for your feed! Also, although this spot isn’t one of the more well known photo spots, its right next to the doors to enter the casino so there will be a lot of people walking in and out. If your photographer stands to the side you’re less likely to have people interrupting your shot by walking in front of the camera.
Address: 3555 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
18. The Linq
The Linq is another one of the hotels on this list that has multiple cool places to shoot photos! One of the best ways to get a view of the entire strip is getting on the High Roller here at the hotel and getting an IG photo when you reach the top. Getting a birds-eye view of the strip is unforgettable and makes for one of the coolest photo ops in Vegas!
Next, make sure to get some photos on the Linq Promenade that leads up to the High Roller. This is such a cute area! The cobblestone street is filled with twinkly lights, and fun shops, restaurants and bars! Have your photographer bend down and shoot at an upward angle and you’ll get a photo of all the colorful storefronts along with the entire wheel in the background!
And finally, if the Influence Pool at The LINQ isn’t Instagram worthy, then I don’t know what is! You can get a great shot here with the hotel with the High Roller in the background!
BONUS: Stop by the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM or visit the In N Out for some fun instagram pictures!
Best Time To Visit.
If you want to shoot at the Influencer Pool, it’s best to go in the morning before their pool parties start so you can get a photo with no one in it.
The LINQ Promenade is in the shade most of the time so you don’t have to worry about the sun being too harsh. It does get crowded in the afternoon and at night, so either come in the morning or get creative with your camera angle and poses to block the crowd.
The best time to get photos on the High Roller is just around sunset or at night, as the sky darkens and all the lights on the Strip start to twinkle! However, nighttime tickets cost more than daytime tickets so keep that in mind.
Tips For Shooting Here
Riding the High Roller is super popular and can book up quickly. Buy your tickets ahead of time so you can skip the line and make sure that you go during the time slot you want!
Address: 3545 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

7 Magic Mountains
Technically, Seven Magic Mountains is located about 10 miles south of the city limits, but it’s become one of the most popular Las Vegas Instagram spots ever since it opened. I just had to include it on this list of the most Instagram worthy places in Las Vegas!
This colorful art installation is a popular spot for photographers and Instagrammers alike! Seven Magic Mountains consists of seven stacks of giant neon boulders, each towering over 30 feet high and you’ll find tons of creative ways to get an Instagram-worthy snap here.
Best Time To Visit.
EARLY!! This is one of the most popular Las Vegas Instagram spots, so be prepared for lots of crowds unless you get there early in the morning around 8 or 9 am! I’ve visited this spot twice, once in the evening right around sunset and once at about 1 pm in the afternoon and both times it was PACKED!
Another reason you’ll want to get there early is that the weather in the dessert can be a bit extreme. If you visit in the summer it is going to be hot! There’s no shade and you’re literally in the middle of the desert, so taking pictures isn’t very enjoyable. And as soon as the sun goes down the dessert actually gets extremely cold. When we got there at about 7:30 pm it was FREEZING!
Going midweek is also helpful if you want to miss the weekend crowds!
Tips For Shooting Here
You will either need to have your own car, rent a car at the airport or take a ride share in order to get to Seven Magic Mountains (or if you’re with a group and want a little extra fun just rent a party bus). If you decide to take a ride share just make sure you book a round trip because due to lack of cell service in the dessert getting back can be tricky!
Address: S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89054
Valley of Fire
If you have an extra day, rent a car and head to Valley of Fire State Park. Even though it’s not located on the Las Vegas Strip, this is by far one of the most-liked Instagram spots and well worth a day trip!
Valley of Fire is only about an hour’s drive from Las Vegas but you’ll feel like you’re in a different world. Known for it’s bright sandstone formations, the bright red and orange rocks will make you feel like you’re exploring Mars and make for some great photos!
Best Time To Visit.
Valley of Fire got its name for good reason… it’s HOT! The temperatures here can actually get pretty dangerous to the point where the rangers ask that you don’t stray too far from the main roads in case of heat stroke. The best time to visit is not only early morning before it gets too hot but also the during the cooler months of the year. I visited in June and we weren’t able to go on some of the more Instagramable hikes because of the heat.
Tips For Shooting Here
Some popular and instagram worthy hikes here are the Fire Wave and Mouse’s Tank Road. This exact photo spot is located at the white Domes Loop right next to the parking lot!
Address: 29450 Valley of Fire Hwy, Overton, NV 89040
